Extensive research has shown that it’s never too early to begin the foundation of STEM learning. The Women in STEM Pre-School Committee works to both engage pre-school students in STEM and also to provide female role models – women can be scientists! The Committee develops and executes STEM activities for pre-schoolers enrolled in Jamesburg, NJ. The group meets face to face twice a year, in the fall and spring, supplemented by conference calls as needed.
Projects take place in November, December, March, April and May. Each project takes one half day onsite. The number of volunteers needed varies by project.
