The YMCA depends upon volunteers to enrich our programs, facility, and youth experiences. Many corporations find volunteering for a day at the YMCA a great way to build staff camaraderie. Volunteering brings purpose to ones self and a staff team as they contribute to the good of the community. Contact the YMCA for a work project that suits your group. Common experiences have included: planting gardens, indoor maintenance projects (painting, window cleaning, etc), outdoor clean up days (landscaping and camp set up), car washes that benefit our scholarship fund, projects with youth: carnivals, science fairs, and gardening initiatives, reading theme days, or holiday celebrations.
