Carnival Days at Lakeview School

Carnival Days is the end of summer session celebration at the Lakeview School in Edison; Lakeview is a school for students ages 3 to 21 with multiple disabilities. Volunteers are needed to assist the students  as they participate in the adaptive carnival games and activities. Volunteers should arrive at 9:00am for a brief orientation and will be with the students until 11:30am when they break for lunch; activities will resume at 12:30pm and last until 2:30pm when the students prepare for the buses home. We ask that volunteers dress casually, but appropriately; torn clothing, crop tops and low pants are not permitted, and closed toe shoes are recommended. Volunteers should be at least 18 years of age. Carnival Days will be held August 9th through 11th; this is a fun-filled event and a great opportunity to spend time with Lakeview students; come join the fun!
