Join us for a Community Planting!

We are excited to have our own small Farmers Against Hunger plot at Giamarese Farm this season (thanks to the generosity of farmer Jim Giamarese)!  All of the crops harvested from the plot this summer will be donated to local hunger relief agencies.  We are looking for a few volunteers to help with planting both plugs and seeds this coming Monday (weather permitting):

Monday, May 21st 10:00 am - 2:00 pm* *Timing is flexible between these hours. if you arrive after 10 am, please call Elyse at 215-510-8112 to ask about field location.

Please RSVP to Elyse at fahvolunteer@gmail.com so that we can communicate any changes due to weather. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots (it might be wet) and bring water and gardening gloves (we will have extra).  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
