Who We Are
New Jersey Orators, Inc. teaches the art of public speaking, an appreciation for literature, reading and media arts literacy, civic engagement and college readiness workshops and life skills to youth from 7 to 18 years of age. We serve annually over 250 youth. We partner with schools and community organizations with chapters located in schools and after school community facilities.
What We Do
New Jersey Orators, Inc. is a 501C3 non-profit youth organization headquartered in Somerset New Jersey. We are a total volunteer runned organization and has been in existence serving the education and literacy needs of youth for 30 years. We have 18 chapters throughout the state of NJ with 5 chapters located in Middlesex County (New Brunswick, Piscataway I & II, Perth Amboy, Somerset/Franklin). We recruit, train and manage volunteers as coaches for our youth as well as administrators for the program and judges for our competitions. The coaches conduct weekly practice sessions with our youth in groups.
