Who We Are
We have four programs: 1) Amandla Crossing: a transitional housing program for single parent families; 2) Imani Park: a transitional housing program providing housing and support services to individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS; 3) POWERS Program: a supported housing program for young women aging out of the State's foster care system; and 4) Community Housing Program: permanent Housing for homeless individuals and families impacted by HIV/AIDS
What We Do
Making it Possible to End Homelessness was founded in 1987 in New Brunswick New Jersey as a way to increase local services and resources for the homeless. In the beginning, Making it Possible consisted solely of volunteers who were represented by local advocates and clergy from Middlesex County. Through our efforts we were able to bring together mainstream public and private agencies to advocate on behalf of the homeless. In 1988, Making it Possible introduced the concept of transitional housing to central New Jersey, giving families a stable place to live while they prepare for their new lives free from homelessness.
