Who We Are
Stein Hospice is a non-profit, faith based hospice caring for terminally ill patients and their families, throughout Union, Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon, Monmouth, and Mercer Counties. Our interdisciplinary team of nurses, aides, doctors, chaplains, social workers, complementary therapists and trained volunteers keep our patients comfortable wherever they live- private residence, assisted living or long term care facility. We bring our team to the patient. We are also part of the Oscar and Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living in Somerset. The organization has a 45 year history of excellence in providing health care services for the Central New Jersey community.
What We Do
What began as a mission of love to offer comfort care to elderly nursing home residents, is now an established hospice offering compassionate end of life support throughout the community in Central New Jersey. Our expert team goes above and beyond to offer emotional, spiritual and physical care to terminally ill patients at home-whether a private residence, assisted living or nursing home. Join us in bringing comfort and companionship to our patients!
Our mission includes providing state-of-the-art end of life care that respects each individual's traditions, values and lifestyle. We strive to support each patient and their family in way that brings meaning, comfort and calm into their lives at a most difficult time. Our volunteers bring music, art, good listening skills and their open hearts into the daily lives of our patients.
