Centurion Ministries

Once we come to believe in an inmate's claim of innocence, our investigators put boots to the pavement looking for new avenues whereby we can prove in court their actually innocence for a murder or rape. In rape cases there must be a DNA component. Our volunteer case workers are the backbone of this agency. We receive nearly 1,500 new requests for help from inmates each year. We need justice-minded, tenacious, and detailed individuals to analyze and summarize criminal cases to help us free those who have been wrongfully convicted!

Our mission is to vindicate and free from prison those individuals in the United States and Canada who are factually innocent of the crimes for which they have been unjustly convicted and imprisoned for life or death. Centurion Ministries was founded by our Executive Director Jim McCloskey in 1983. We are the oldest organization in the country that does this type of work.
