Many of them are trapped in the court and child welfare systems, spending their childhoods moving from one foster home to another. As a CASA volunteer, you will act as a fact-finder for the court and help objectively investigate every aspect of a child's life, including visitation and conducting interviews, in order to make sure he or she is receiving all the services that are needed.
