Volunteers will wrap gifts for the store’s customers. Donations support United Way of Central Jersey (UWCJ) community programs.
Sign up for a (2 1/2) of (5) hour gift-wrapping shift with friends and help MAKE a difference in the Community! Please indicate if you are available for the full shift, the first half or second half. Thank you!
Instructions:
Gift wrappers will arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled gift-wrap time.
Gift-wrappers will check that customers have receipts for all items before wrapping
A minimum of two gift-wrappers will be present at all times; three wrappers maximum.
In the event that minors (14 and under) are wrapping gifts, at least one adult will be present at all times.
The store will direct customers to the gift-wrap area. No solicitation is allowed.
Barnes & Noble will provide tables, chairs and an area for gift wrapping including paper, scissors, tape and gift enclosure cards.
The gift wrapping area will be kept clean at all times.
Gift-wrappers will dress appropriately.
UWCJ will provide a jar to collect donations that will be secured at the end of the shift.
Gift-wrappers may not charge for wrapping. Only donations may be accepted.
Gift-wrappers will be asked to make flyers or brochures about UWCJ available
